Spread the art o/ + Christams lottery

Yeah.. well... i'm not very sure anyone will be interested but I see all those peeps having X-mas lotteries and I think it's so lovely and nice of them ! So I felt like I should do the same ( and I'd love to!)
This is simple: Comment this journal saying it's for the Christmas lottery  and describe what you would like. I'll pick up two person  randomly ( like putting numbers in a hat /o/) And I'll draw them a christmas gift of their choice.

Please keep in mind My drawing is still pretty weak so don't ask for complex perspective shit with dragon fighting a giant flying shark in a realistic style... In other words I'll draw in my style :3


Ho yeah this spread the art thingy is still valid so feel free to ask for a spot too!

Dragons.

Heya there!

I used to study illustration in Fine-Arts school, But the main teacher was absolutely out... Actually for the first 6/7 months, everything went pretty fine... But once I'd talked to her about the books, music, movie I liked,  I was doomed... She started to make useless and mean comments on everything I did, she went as far as insulting me when she was sure none could witness it. I've stay there for two year of constant rubbish. My style was not welcome. To exaggerated or not enough. No matter what I was doing, it was never enough, never enough work, never enough in the style wanted, never good enough... Before I went there, even if my drawing has always been weak, i kept drawing and enjoyed it... I Had countless sketch books and lil drawings on every pieces of paper that fell under my hands. after that, I was not even able to draw with a smile anymore... So I stopped everything, locked my pride deep inside and forced myself to ignore that that teacher as destroy my pleasure in creating stuff. I took 2 years to realize I was destroyed and 2 years to start to rebuild everything from the foundations again.
Today "I'm back". I've just stared studying images creations again, I have four teachers, who do make unpleasant comments to hear but Useful comments, that make me grow. I'm back to wear that large smile inside whenever I pick a pen. I'm back to being over productive and happy about my tiny unsure art! All that long useless chat to say one thing; sometimes we meet dragon, our pride make us want to kick them down, but forcing it may mean loosing yourself. It's sad but it's true, there is peeps who are unhappy, and just destroy other to feel powerful or great. Sometime, it's better to just ignore the dragon and try another road... I thought it was weakness, I felt miserable and weak but today I realize that the weak person was that teacher. Being an art teacher and not being able to make your student learn anything, making them your toys to feel as if you had control over at least one thing... that's very pitiful.

I met a dragon, I tried to fight it and I lost, but now I'm back on my feet again and I keep traveling and going forward when that poor dragon is still stuck in it's cave.

Doing art without enjoying it is not doing art, it's doing politics or commerce, or business or.... not art.

Heya DA !

This is my Illustration page
I've been working on drawing for few years now and hopefully I've got better
at it.... ( even if there is still lots of work...) You can find my photography account there: OogrimoO.deviantart.com
It's quiet dead lately cause i've been working more on drawing and all...
but you can go have a look maybe you'll like what you'll see...


I still have "commissions" that are undone but if you feel like asking me to draw you something special you can always ask ( even if i can be slow sometimes)... Just ask something clear ... and don't be angry if i refuse i may just not have the time or so .( ho and off course it's free as i'm not that good yet.... it's more like a practicing exercise for me :) )

Now that i'm not studying anymore and i'm looking for a job I've decided to work for real with illustration and photography.

It should be done by the end of November. I make post card, greeting cars, invitation, bookmark.... soo if you have a request you can always ask.

I'm also working on books for children projects but well that wont be shown  anywhere before it got published/edited ( if it's edited one day...)

I feel pretty insecure about all this for now when i see all the great stuff  on DA... But if you just sit and cry you'll have nothing! I still have lot of work before i can reach my dream but i'm not afraid of work!
so please don't think i'm too "cocky"...

Tiny comment or words are always nice to give you more strength and more faith in yourself so don't hesitate to write me something nice :p!

I was thinking of "why Am I here? What do I like here What is interesting, nice, inspiring me..."

I want to be here to see more and more talented artists talk and exchange about art, culture, life philosophy... I know that I'm not a great drawer but I want to become one,
I work Hard for that!(maybe I'm too lazy sometimes T_T...) But I'm sure that work pay!
I'm always Happy when someone add my work in fav., I'm Just absolutely peachy when I see a new comment, or a good critic that help me to become better. So I take the time to answer!
And if I forgot some time, Sorry. I'm really really grateful of the time people take to help me become better :). I'm happy to be able to see all that magnificent universe and style of arts ...
And the better reward for my work is when someone say "nice"  or " I like it" soo please continue if you like something Tell me :)
